On Saturday, April 26, 2025, Chichibu winery Passion will hold two events to mark the winery’s first wine release.

About Passion
Passion is a winery established in Ashigakubo, Yokoze, Chichibu District, Saitama Prefecture.
It obtained a fruit-wine manufacturing license in September 2024 and began full-scale winemaking. Despite being in its first year, two of its labels won gold medals at the international Sakura Awards, making it a winery currently attracting attention.
For the unveiling of wines filled with the winery’s passion, the event will welcome Higuchi-kun of Hige Danshaku as a guest, with Kana Miyasaka, runner-up in Miss Wine 2018, serving as host.
About the Events
Passion will hold “Passion Gala — A Wine Story Beginning in Chichibu” and “Passion Celebration — Passion First Release Festa.”
A value-priced combined ticket is also available for guests who want to attend both events and use the shuttle bus.
In addition to tasting the first-release wines from Passion, Yokoze’s first winery, the opening event at Yokoze Town Hall will feature special programs including a discussion between the mayor of Yokoze, three Chichibu wineries and Higuchi-kun of Hige Danshaku.
