"Taste of Hokkaido UNWIND Otaru Wine & Cuisine" is an event regularly held by "UNWIND HOTEL&BAR Otaru" since July 2021.
For this 13th edition, the hotel welcomes food and wine journalist Miyuki Katori, who resonated with the hotel's activities, as the presenter.
The greatest highlight of this event is not only savoring pairings between representative Hokkaido wines and hotel dinners crafted with carefully selected Hokkaido ingredients, but also comparing them side by side with distinctive wines produced in other regions.
By comparing wines from both inside and outside Hokkaido that "illuminate Japan's future," participants can grasp the contours of Hokkaido wine on a deeper level while contemplating and experiencing the possibilities of Japanese wine.
