“Château Mercian Festival 2025 — Making Japan a World-Class Wine Region” will be held on Friday, May 30 and Saturday, May 31 at Shibuya Cast Space & Garden in Shibuya, Tokyo.
The event aims to communicate the deliciousness and enjoyment of Japanese wine even to people who normally have little contact with it, and to expand awareness of Japanese wine further. All three Château Mercian wineries—Château Mercian Katsunuma Winery, Kikyougahara Winery and Mariko Winery—will participate.
In addition, seminars and wine sales will feature two Hanamaki, Iwate producers supported by Mercian’s grape-growing and winemaking consulting business since 2021: ART PAYSAN WINERY and MK Farm Kobushi.
Here is an overview.
