favy Inc. has produced an original wine called “Meat Lovers Only K.”
The project was created in collaboration with BookRoad, an urban winery in Tokyo.
The wine will be served at all five locations of the company's members-only restaurants 29ON and Plus starting in April 2025.

“Meat Lovers Only K” was developed by favy Inc.
The wine was planned by the company's members-only restaurant division and vinified at BookRoad using Japanese-grown grapes: Pinot Noir from Yamanashi and Merlot from Nagano. It is a 100% Japanese-grown-grape wine.
About the Wine
“Meat Lovers Only K” was created around the concept of an original wine that pairs especially well with roast beef.
The roast beef served at the company's restaurants is prepared in a way that retains more juices and delivers a more concentrated meat flavor than typical roast beef, while the seasoning is kept deliberately minimal so it does not overpower the meat.
The team therefore focused on creating a wine that would sit naturally alongside that simple roast beef when paired together.
“Meat Lovers Only K” combines sweet-tart red-fruit flavors with the stem-like aromas and structural backbone associated with Merlot.
It is an unusual blend of Merlot and Pinot Noir.
The wine is served at Plus Shiodome, 29ON Shibuya-Daikanyama, 29ON Nishi-Shinjuku, 29ON Nihonbashi-Muromachi, and 29ON Osaka.
