About the "Winter Wine Festa"
The "Winter Wine Festa" is an event to warm up with winter-exclusive ways of enjoying wine, held by Risonare Yatsugatake, a resort hotel in the Yatsugatake area.
Offerings will include a wine hot pot made with Muscat Bailey A wine and mulled wine that allows you to freely combine 10 kinds of spices and fruits to your liking.
In addition, tables repurposed from wine barrels and corks, as well as bonfires made from pruned wine grape branches, will be set up along Piman Street.
Features of the "Winter Wine Festa"
Here are the features of the "Winter Wine Festa":
Feature 1: Wine hot pot made with Muscat Bailey A wine
Feature 2: 100 variations of mulled wine crafted by freely combining your choice of spices and fruits
Feature 3: Piman Street styled with a wine theme
Among them, the wine hot pot made with Muscat Bailey A wine is inspired by "brasato," a braised dish beloved in Italy.
The wine used is Muscat Bailey A, an indigenous Japanese grape variety representative of Yamanashi for wine grape production; paired with beef that complements its light tannins, along with winter vegetables like turnips and Brussels sprouts, it highlights the texture and sweetness of the ingredients.
This is an exceptionally unique event.
