"Nakazawa En" in the Nishitakahashi district, Kofu

The Koshu grapes used for "CITRAFT" are cultivated by Mr. Nakazawa in the Nishitakahashi district of Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture.

The Nishitakahashi district is located in the central part of the Kofu Basin, featuring sandy soil with good drainage and abundant sunlight characteristic of the Kofu Basin, making it an ideal region for grape growing.

This time, to maximize the citrus aroma characteristic of the grapes from the Nishitakahashi district in Kofu City, harvesting was carried out at the timing when aroma precursors reach their peak.

For "CITRAFT," blending two base wines with different personalities expresses a balance of rich aroma and flavor.

Wine Data

"Koshu Nishitakahashi Nakazawa En CITRAFT 2025" is a wine crafted by blending two base wines with different personalities to achieve a balance of refreshing citrus-like aroma, fresh fruitiness, and pleasant acidity.

One is a base wine produced through low-temperature skin contact to carefully extract the aroma components concentrated in the grape skins.

It has a vivid elegance that brings out the citrus aroma of the grapes to the maximum. The other base wine expresses the power and umami inherent in the grapes.

By blending the two types of base wines, the elegance of the citrus aroma and a rich, full-bodied flavor come together, resulting in a wine with a rich sense of umami.

Why not enjoy this special wine, a fusion of meticulously cultivated Koshu and the technical expertise of the Manns Wines winemaking team?
