Let us take a closer look at the details.
About the "Château Mercian Prestige Passport"
The "Château Mercian Prestige Passport" is a popular program that launched in 2018.
It is popular for offering various member benefits, such as 12 wines per year carefully selected by winemakers, online seminars about the delivered wines, and "Thanks Days" held at the three wineries in Katsunuma, Kikyogahara, and Mariko.
Last year, it was exceptionally well received, with more than 60% of members renewing their applications.
About the "Château Mercian Prestige Passport 2023-2024"
The "Château Mercian Prestige Passport 2023-2024" offers two program tiers: "First Class" and "Crystal Class."
"First Class" is the highest tier, featuring a curated selection of gem-like wines from the three wineries, centering on rare red wines such as icon wines and grape varieties appearing for the first time from "Château Mercian."
"Crystal Class" is a tier offering a well-balanced selection of white, rosé, and sparkling wines from the three wineries that pair wonderfully with ingredient-focused Japanese cuisine.
Because all the wines delivered are different labels, members who apply for both classes can enjoy them without any overlap.
