On Saturday, November 5, 2022, “Château Mercian Katsunuma Winery” will host the “Château Mercian Katsunuma Winery Festival 2022”.
This year, it will once again be held in a hybrid format featuring both in-person attendance and online streaming.
Furthermore, as an affiliated project of the “Katsunuma Winery Festival”, “Parent-Child de Winery: Field Trip & Garden Picnic” is scheduled to be held at the same winery on Sunday, November 6.

About the “Katsunuma Winery Festival”
Since 1974, Château Mercian has held events such as the “Harvest Festival” to coincide with the grape harvest season.
For this 45th edition, aiming to “coexist with and revitalize the production region,” it will be held primarily via online streaming in collaboration among three wineries—Katsunuma Winery, Kikyogahara Winery, and Mariko Winery—along with other wineries in Katsunuma.
In addition, for the first time this year, “Parent-Child de Winery: Field Trip & Garden Picnic” will be held at Katsunuma Winery in connection with the “Katsunuma Winery Festival”.
They hope families will experience winery tours that children are usually unable to join, allowing them to feel and appreciate Japanese wine culture together.
