A First in Japan! Certification Course for the UK-born Pinnacle Sommelier Credential "Master Sommelier" Opens February 3!

Here is great news for wine fans who became interested in wine qualifications through Japanese wine, or who already hold credentials such as Wine Expert or Sommelier.

Caplan Wine Academy, operated by Pasona HR Solution Inc., will offer the "Introductory Sommelier Course & Examination" starting February 3—a certification course for the sommelier exam by the UK-origin "The Court of Master Sommeliers (CMS)", leading toward its highest rank, "Master Sommelier".

This certification course is the first of its kind in Japan.

Here are the details.

The World's Most Challenging Qualification, Held by Only 300 People Worldwide!

The "Introductory Sommelier Course & Examination" offered by Caplan Wine Academy.

This is an essential introductory course for earning the "Master Sommelier" credential—considered the most difficult in the world—certified by "The Court of Master Sommeliers (CMS)", an organization established to encourage improved standards of beverage knowledge and service, including wine, in hotels and restaurants.

"Master Sommelier" is the highest tier of "The Court of Master Sommeliers (CMS)", a sommelier credentialing organization established in the UK in 1977 to encourage improved standards of beverage knowledge and service in hotels and restaurants, and it is regarded as the most challenging sommelier credential in the world.

Its pass rate is an astonishing 3 to 8%, and reportedly only 300 sommeliers around the world hold this qualification.

A Must-Watch Course!

The "Introductory Sommelier Course & Examination" welcomes an instructor holding the "Master Sommelier" credential to conduct an intensive two-day course along with the official CMS certification exam.

In the intensive course, participants will learn everything from fundamental knowledge of grape cultivation to the CMS deductive tasting method, as well as hospitality and service expected of a world-class sommelier.

At the end of the course, an official certification exam will be administered, and successful candidates will earn the internationally recognized credential "Introductory Sommelier".

If you wish to deepen your knowledge of wine at a higher level, or aspire to reach top-tier professional standing, why not take this opportunity to enroll?
