The fig wine made with figs from Kawanishi City is called “THE MORNING DEWDROPS – 川西の朝露.”

It is produced by Manns Wines Co., Ltd., a winery in Koshu City, Yamanashi Prefecture.

With an alcohol content of 10%, it is a fruit wine with the sweet aroma of figs and a fruity flavor.

The head of the agricultural policy section of the city's Industry Promotion Division commented, “The figs used as ingredients are high-quality, fully ripened fruit, so the wine has a beautiful color, and I believe people will be able to enjoy the fresh flavor and aroma as if they were eating the figs themselves.”

Approximately 1.9 tons of figs are used to produce the wine, with a limited release of around 3,600 bottles.

The wine is sold at locations including the JA Hyogo Rokko Kawanishi Farming Support Center in Shimogamo, liquor stores in Kawanishi City, Farmers Market Smile Hanshin in Kitahonmachi, Itami City, and Pascal Sanda in Kawanoke, Sanda City.

It is a rare bottle that may be difficult to find.
