"Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Yatsugatake" offers intellectual experiences that explore the charms of wine, frequently hosting "Maker's Dinners" welcoming winemakers and other wine-related producers.
This time, the resort's vision aligned with Marufuji Winery in Katsunuma, Yamanashi Prefecture, sharing the desire to "have more people enjoy Yamanashi wine."
This alignment led to the realization of this event.
Program Details
"Rubaiyat Maker's Dinner in RISONARE Yatsugatake OTTO SETTE" consists of the following three programs:
1. Tour of Marufuji Winery's vineyards and winery
2. Aperitif and Special Dinner at RISONARE Yatsugatake
3. Premium lineup of Yamanashi wines at Yatsugatake Wine House
During the winery tour, guests will actually visit vineyards of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Koshu, Merlot, and Petit Verdot.
Afterward, guests will tour the historic winery dating back to 1890.
Before dinner, five wines, starting with Marufuji Winery's sparkling wine, will be served paired with five dishes utilizing seasonal ingredients unique to Yamanashi Prefecture.
For dinner, at RISONARE Yatsugatake's main dining venue "OTTO SETTE," guests can savor a one-night-only course crafted to pair with the wines, along with a talk session between Mr. Tatsumi and Mr. Ohmura—who share a close friendship both publicly and privately, partly connected through Mr. Tatsumi's role portraying Mr. Ohmura in a Japanese wine-themed film—allowing participants to fully enjoy the marriage of wine and cuisine.
In addition, a premium lineup exclusive to this event will be prepared at the hotel's wine shop, "Yatsugatake Wine House."
Guests can enjoy paid tastings of 24 carefully selected wines from wineries in Yamanashi Prefecture, one of Japan's premier wine-producing regions.
