A Resource for Wine Tourism

The Hokkaido wineries featured on the site are introduced by Masahisa Abe, Representative Director of the NPO Wine Cluster Hokkaido.

Wine tourism is not simply about visiting wineries. It is “a journey to enjoy a region through wine,” including its history, climate, local ingredients and food culture.
\n
Abe encourages visitors to look beyond the broad label of “Hokkaido wine” and pay attention to the characteristics of each place and each wine.

Hokkaido is a wine-producing region attracting attention from around the world.
