Yoichi Pinot Noir and Yoichi Niagara coffees debut from INIC coffee's "HOKKAIDO CAFE" series!

New products have been introduced to the Hokkaido-exclusive "HOKKAIDO CAFE" series by the powder coffee brand "INIC coffee".

Coffees made using grapes harvested in Yoichi Town, "Yoichi Pinot Noir Coffee" and "Yoichi Niagara Coffee," as well as an "Assortment 2 Cups" containing one packet of each product, will be released sequentially starting in mid-June.

Here are the details.

The 3rd installment of the "HOKKAIDO CAFE by INIC coffee" series

The "HOKKAIDO CAFE by INIC coffee" series uses Hokkaido's specialty products in its coffee.

This release marks its third installment.

Focusing on Yoichi Town, known as the "Fruit Kingdom of the North," they paid special attention to grapes that pair exceptionally well with coffee, blending the juices of two varieties—Pinot Noir and Niagara—into the coffees respectively.
To accentuate the best qualities of both coffee and grapes, they reportedly paid thorough attention to flavor through repeated fine adjustments, altering the types of beans blended and their mixing ratios.

About the flavor profile

The newly released "Yoichi Pinot Noir Coffee" is a coffee characterized by the refreshing acidity of grapes.

Bringing the cup close to your mouth, you can perceive the refreshing aroma of grapes.

Upon tasting, you immediately sense a pleasant coffee bitterness, but after a moment, you should also be able to perceive the elegant aroma and acidity characteristic of Pinot Noir.

Meanwhile, "Yoichi Niagara Coffee" is blended with medium-roast coffee to highlight the sweet aroma of Niagara.

Thanks to the varietal characteristics of Niagara itself and the medium-roast blend, the mouthfeel is mild, allowing you to enjoy the fresh aroma of grapes alongside the refreshing acidity of coffee.

A must-try coffee for Japanese wine fans as well.

Be sure to check it out.
