On Tuesday, February 25, a dinner event titled “A Journey Through Hiroshima’s Deliciousness” will be held at Hiroshima Andersen in Hiroshima City.
Wine from Hiroshima Prefecture will also be served.

About “A Journey Through Hiroshima’s Deliciousness”
The dinner is organized by Hiroshima Andersen as an opportunity to discover new dimensions of Hiroshima’s food. Guided by its chefs, guests will journey through the prefecture’s flavors and encounter ingredients at their seasonal best.
Seven chefs, pastry chefs, and bakers from Hiroshima Andersen visited distinctive production areas around Hiroshima, learning about each place, its climate, history and culture. They will express in their dishes the impressions gained through exchanges with producers.

Featured Hiroshima ingredients include:
• Masahiko Kubo low-temperature pasteurized milk / Sagotani Farm yogurt with millet sugar, Yuki, Saeki-ku, Hiroshima
• Yawata Kogen fresh lamb, Kitahiroshima, Yamagata District
• Onomichi papaya, Innoshima, Onomichi
• Hiroshima lemon salmon, Atatajima, Otake
• Hiba beef, Nanatsukacho, Shobara
• Roasted peanuts, Omasari variety, Hachihonmatsu, Higashihiroshima
These ingredients will be used to create the menu.
The following wines and cider are scheduled to be served:
• Andersen Farm Cider 2023, Okuizumo Vineyard, made with apples from Geihoku
• TOMOÉ Chardonnay Crisp, Hiroshima Miyoshi Winery, white, dry
• TOMOÉ Merlot, Hiroshima Miyoshi Winery, red, medium-full-bodied
