On Friday, July 24, 2026, French restaurant Hikariya Nishi in Matsumoto, Nagano, will host “Hikariya Nishi Makers Dinner vol.04 Chikumagawa Wine Valley.”
It will be a special evening exploring the terroir of the Chikumagawa Wine Valley.
About Hikariya Nishi Makers Dinner vol.04
The event is the fourth installment in a series introducing the appeal of Shinshu wine.
This edition welcomes two representative producers from the Chikumagawa Wine Valley: Kusunoki Winery and Shinshu Takayama Winery.
Program
Guests will experience each winery’s terroir and winemaking philosophy through the senses alongside Hikariya Nishi’s French cuisine.
Although both wineries are in the same Chikumagawa Wine Valley, Suzaka City and Takayama Village differ in climate, soil, and approaches to grape growing and winemaking.
Enjoy the pairings with a special Hikariya Nishi course created specifically for the evening.
