Sales of "Special Pink Wine," developed by Felissimo in collaboration with Kobe Chinatown / Nankinmachi, will begin at a special venue inside Nankinmachi Square during the "2024 Nankinmachi Spring Festival" held from Saturday, February 10 to Monday, February 12 (national holiday).

About "Special Pink Wine"
The "Pink Wine" to be released this time by Felissimo.
This project was conceived inspired by the long-held vision of sommelier Tamao Nakamura of the winery "f winery," who wanted to broadly propose pairings of Chinese cuisine with wine.
Furthermore, as Felissimo's President and Representative Director Kazuhiko Yazaki serves as the executive committee chairman of the Nankinmachi Spring Festival, it was developed jointly with Kobe Chinatown / Nankinmachi, resulting in a photogenic masterpiece that brings a bright, happy feeling with its gorgeous pink color, making you want to capture it on your smartphone.
Details of "Special Pink Wine"
"Special Pink Wine" uses Riesling and Merlot from Hyogo Prefecture.
In this original blend, the gentle acidity and refreshing character of Riesling meld with the red fruit flavors and smooth tannins of Merlot to create a complex flavor profile, along with a long, lingering finish.
Combining elements of both red and white wine, it offers the advantage of pairing easily with a wide variety of dishes, and goes exceptionally well with Chinese cuisine as a whole, which features diverse regional characteristics.
Incidentally, the label design is inspired by the idea of bringing happiness—just like the pink lion (lion dance)—along with the mystical, Shangri-La-like pink glow of the wine.
