“CHRONO CHARME,” Repurposing Wine from Yoichi, Hokkaido, Launches Amenity Offerings at “Hitotsu Notojima”!

“CHRONO CHARME” has begun offering amenities at the newly opened sushi auberge in Notojima, Ishikawa Prefecture—Hokuriku's first—Noto no Sachi Resort “Hitotsu Notojima.”

CHRONO CHARME is a lifestyle brand that utilizes wine from Yoichi, Hokkaido.

Let us take a closer look at the details.

About CHRONO CHARME

CHRONO CHARME is a lifestyle brand dedicated to sustainable product development.

Advocating regional revitalization through beauty, it upcycles the skins of white grapes discarded during the brewing of wine in Yoichi, Hokkaido.

One of the brand's items, the CHRONO CHARME fragrance “ESCAPE,” is blended around the citrusy scent of bergamot, the gorgeous floral notes of frangipani and ylang-ylang, and the spiciness of clove and patchouli.

Combining freshness with deep sweetness and exoticism, this oriental wood scent guides you from the ordinary to the extraordinary.

Beyond collaborating with wineries in Yoichi Town to make wine and revitalizing the local economy through the hometown tax donation system, CHRONO CHARME is a brand actively pursuing initiatives that cross administrative boundaries by developing and providing amenities in partnership with Hokkaido accommodations—such as the gallery stay “SHIGUCHI” in Niseko, Hokkaido, and “VILLA BRAMARE” located within Hokkaido Ballpark F Village, the new base of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters.

About “Hitotsu Notojima”

This time, the property where CHRONO CHARME launched its amenities is the Noto no Sachi Resort “Hitotsu Notojima.”

It is an auberge completely renovated from a bare shell by Yuji Nakanaga, an architect hailing from Ishikawa Prefecture, breathing new life into lodging that had long been cherished locally.

Guests can spend a relaxing time in all-ocean-view rooms limited to just eight parties.

Furthermore, supervised by Koji Mitsukawa, owner-chef of “Sushi Mitsukawa”—which has its main branch in Kanazawa and also an outpost at Park Hyatt Niseko—it serves exquisite sushi using top-quality ingredients nurtured by the climate of Noto, with a strong focus on local production for local consumption.

Operating on an all-inclusive pricing structure, it covers not only beverages in the bar lounge and guest rooms but also alcoholic drinks served at dinner, offering local sake, original cocktails, and more, allowing guests to spend an entirely carefree and relaxing time.
