On the two days of November 3 (Sun) and 4 (Mon, national holiday), "Cheese & Whey Festival vol.2" will be held at GOOD NEWS NEIGHBOURS.
This marks the second edition of the festival following last year, a popular event that drew over approximately 4,000 visitors across the two days last year.

About "Cheese & Whey Festival vol.2"
"Cheese & Whey Festival vol.2" is an event hosted by the Cheese & Whey Festival Executive Committee, composed of volunteer members including Cheese Koubou Nasu no Mori Co., Ltd., GOOD NEWS Co., Ltd., and the Nasu Natural Cheese Study Group.
It is a popular event where visitors can enjoy cheeses from all over Japan as well as dishes made with cheese and whey, and vol.1 last year drew over approximately 4,000 visitors.
Whey is discarded at many cheese workshops.
At this event, opportunities are created to taste whey within the venue through its use in bread ingredients and various dishes; furthermore, by having visitors actually interact with whey through cheesemaking experiences and other activities, the program is designed to help them feel the relationship between cheese and whey more closely.
Wine from Coco Farm & Winery is also included in the backyard tour!
A variety of content is prepared for the event.
Among them, what is especially recommended for Japanese wine fans is the backyard tour, which brings cheese and whey even closer.
The guide will be Mr. Yamakawa, who serves as both the committee chair of the event and the representative of Cheese Koubou Nasu no Mori, personally guiding participants while visiting the booths of various workshops.
In addition, this tour is said to include tastings of cheeses recommended by each workshop, accompanied by wine (or grape vinegar juice) from Coco Farm & Winery.
