About the Three Varieties

The characteristics of the sparkling wines from Baeren Brewery in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture, are summarized below.

・<Baeren Our Hour Crimson Glory Sparkling Wine>

A sparkling wine finished by Baeren through carbonation (injecting carbon dioxide) of wine brewed by "Suzumi no Oka Winery" in Noda Village, Iwate Prefecture.

With a commitment to using crimson glory (yamabudo) wine specially prepared for sparkling wine, it offers a refreshing taste with crisp acidity that pairs easily with meals.

・<Baeren Our Hour Rosé Sparkling Wine>

A sparkling wine finished by Baeren through carbonation (injecting carbon dioxide) of wine brewed by "Jien Jijo Wine Shiwa" in Shiwa Town, Iwate Prefecture.

It uses 100% "Muscat Bailey A," an indigenous Japanese grape variety.

It features a vivid pink rosé hue, a gorgeous sweet aroma reminiscent of berries, and a pleasant mouthfeel with enjoyable sweetness and moderate acidity; finished off-dry, it pairs well with meals and can also be enjoyed as a toast or aperitif.

・<Baeren Our Hour Sweet Red Sparkling Wine>

A sparkling wine finished by Baeren through carbonation (injecting carbon dioxide) of wine brewed by "Edel Wein" in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture.

It uses 100% Campbell grapes from Iwate Prefecture.

By finishing it as a sweet sparkling wine, the fresh fruitiness of Campbell stands out, resulting in a crisp and easy-to-drink flavor.
