ANA Holiday Inn Resort Shinano-Omachi Kuroyon Begins Serving Autumn Dinners! A Collaborative Event with a Nagano Prefecture Winery Coming Next Year!

ANA Holiday Inn Resort Shinano-Omachi Kuroyon started offering autumn dinners at its Botanica Restaurant on Wednesday, October 5.

In addition, a Valentine's winemaker dinner event in collaboration with Chateau Sansan (Sansan Winery) is planned for 2023.

Here are the details.

About the Autumn Dinner

The autumn dinner currently being offered.

An Autumn Buffet packed with an abundance of fall delicacies, such as apples and grapes actively cultivated in Nagano Prefecture, as well as squash and mushrooms.

Furthermore, courses such as the Botanica Course -Autumn 2022-, inspired by the traditional autumn of Shinshu, are offered, featuring dishes like "Charcoal-Grilled Shinshu Alps Beef Aitchbone," "Charcoal-Grilled Shinshu Alps Beef Fillet," and "Shinshu Venison Loin."

Truly, the flavors of Nagano.

This is a must-see dinner for anyone whose interest in Nagano Prefecture's food culture was sparked by Nagano wine.

Valentine's Winemaker Dinner Event

While it may be a little early, the Valentine's winemaker dinner event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, February 9, 2023.

An appealing dinner event titled "A Winemaker Dinner to Enjoy the Marriage of Wine and Cuisine Featuring Shinshu Ingredients" is planned.

This event is a collaboration with Chateau Sansan (Sansan Winery), which was awarded 4 stars for three consecutive years at the "Japan Winery Awards 2022."

Guests can enjoy pairings between wines from an outstanding winery—which reclaimed fallow, abandoned farmland in Shinshu Shiojiri (elevation 864 m) into vineyards and won a Gold Medal at the Japan Wine Challenge 2021 just five years after its first vintage—and a course dinner featuring an abundance of winter ingredients produced by Botanica Restaurant's Executive Chef Sato.

Keep an Eye on the Valentine's Winemaker Dinner Event

On the day of the Valentine's winemaker dinner event, Shogo Tamura, head of winemaking and viticulture (factory manager) at Chateau Sansan (Sansan Winery), is also scheduled to make an appearance.

Special program details are reportedly being prepared to allow guests to immerse themselves in Nagano wine crafted in a historic, prestigious Japanese wine region, alongside the charms of the land.

Be sure to check it out.
