"SUNTORY FROM FARM" is Suntory's new Japanese wine brand.
Among its lineup, "Tomi Red" is an iconic symbol of the company's Japanese wine, crafted with skill and affection from grapes cultivated in carefully selected vineyards on "Tomi no Oka"—a location blessed with low rainfall, abundant sunlight, and large diurnal temperature swings—where winemakers monitor the growing conditions daily.
The upcoming release is a new vintage, predominantly made from Petit Verdot, a variety that vividly expresses the current terroir and climatic characteristics of "Tomi no Oka."
About the Wine Profile
It offers vivid aromas of black fruits such as blackberries, followed by spicy notes reminiscent of white pepper.
On the palate, a sweet aroma reminiscent of cassis emerges.
The flavor initially presents a strong sense of concentrated fruit, followed mid-palate by rich, fine tannins within a natural sweetness, as well as a well-defined structure.
