"wa-syu OFFICIAL ONLINE SHOP" (hereafter "wa-syu"), operated by JUN Co., Ltd., has begun offering products from Tada Winery.
Tada Winery is operated by Tada Farm Co., Ltd., a long-established farm with a 121-year history since 1901 in the Furano Basin of Hokkaido.
At a time when wines called "natural wine" are attracting attention worldwide, this is a precious opportunity to obtain products from Tada Winery.
Let's introduce the details.
About Tada Winery
Tada Winery is a winery located in the Furano Basin, Hokkaido.

The winery's beginnings trace back to 2007, when Mr. Tada, the representative who had been growing vegetables at Tada Farm, started cultivating Pinot Noir grapes following a series of coincidental encounters with people.
He began making wine via custom crush under the guidance of his mentor, winemaker Bruce Gutlove, and others, and established "Tada Winery" in 2016.
No chemical fertilizers are used at all in grape cultivation, with only small amounts of organic fertilizers and microbial materials applied.
Furthermore, no herbicides are used whatsoever, with all weeding and grass cutting done by hand, and pesticide use is kept to a bare minimum as they carefully nurture the grapevines.
These natural wines, crafted with a dedication to wild yeast in the frigid Furano Basin known as the "belly button of Hokkaido" to produce one-of-a-kind wines, have finally arrived at "wa-syu."

About Tada Winery's Uncharted Challenge

Kamifurano Town in Hokkaido is a basin surrounded by mountains and is known for its wide temperature variations.
Because it is an extremely cold land where temperatures drop to -25°C in winter and reach -30°C every few years, Mr. Tada's grape-growing challenge began with making "snow" his ally.
After overcoming many difficulties, he succeeded in protecting the grapevines from frost damage by discovering a natural method of cold protection: shoveling snow and covering them with it.
Today, the grapes are highly regarded as raw material that produces high-quality wine with the beautiful acidity characteristic of cold regions.
And Tada Winery's dedication lies in winemaking using wild yeast.
To express more vividly the characteristics of Furano's mineral-rich land, they spare no effort in their winemaking.
Tada Winery's goal is "to nurture Tada Winery as a community winery, and to contribute in a small way to building a rich local culture fragrant with wine culture, as many vineyards and wineries emerge in the Furano area."
Without a doubt, this winery is one of the Japanese wineries to watch right now.
