The Meaning of Making Japanese Wine
We believe there is real meaning in making wine here, in Kikyogahara, Japan. Some people may think that Japan cannot produce wines as good as those from overseas. We do not believe that for a moment. We are convinced that truly good wine can be made here. It has long been said that wine is shaped by the character of its land. What, then, does that mean? To us, it means the climate, the soil, and the people. Good wine is made in places where passionate people are committed to making it.
