At Kido Winery, we make only the wines that we ourselves genuinely want to make. We live in an age when producers are told they must make what consumers demand in order to survive, but we believe the starting point of food production is different: producers should make what they themselves want to create and enjoy, then work to deliver it to consumers who understand that value. At every stage of grape growing and winemaking, we choose what we feel is best. We rely as little as possible on analytical instruments, use all five senses, and make wine according to what we think and feel. That is the Kido Winery style.
