A Pioneer of the Chikumagawa Wine Valley
In recent years, the Chikumagawa Wine Valley has attracted intense attention for its climate and terroir, which are well suited to grape growing. Manns Wines was among the first to begin cultivating grapes here and established Komoro Winery in 1973. Production centers on Solaris, the company's top-range Japanese wine series that brings together the full breadth of Manns Wines' technical expertise. A winery visit can also be combined with the area's natural attractions, including Mt. Asama and the Chikuma River, as well as nearby destinations such as Karuizawa.
