In 2020, the first winery in Kagoshima Prefecture was completed.

Sakura Farm cultivates more than 2,000 grapevines across over 35 varieties on a 42,000 m² site,

and had been aiming to begin sales of wine produced in Kirishima made from grapes grown on the farm.

From July through October, visitors can enjoy barbecue, original wines, sorbet, and more inside the spacious greenhouse.

Using Merlot, a grape grown specifically for wine, along with several other varieties, we produce four styles: red, white (sweet and dry), and rosé.
