From November 23 (Thu, Labor Thanksgiving Day) to November 30, "Yoichi Town Thanksgiving 2023" will be held.
This project began in 2020 and marks its fourth year this year.
Let's take a look at the details.
What is Yoichi Town Thanksgiving?
Yoichi Town Thanksgiving is a special initiative organized with the cooperation of local businesses to offer special thank-you gifts through Furusato Nozei (hometown tax donation system), expressing gratitude for how donations have strengthened policies for education, industry, and welfare.
The "Yoichi Town Thanksgiving" was launched after wineries in Yoichi Town contributed rare, hard-to-find wines to Furusato Nozei "for the sake of Yoichi Town," making this the fourth edition of the event.
What can we expect in 2023?
"Yoichi Town Thanksgiving 2023" will reportedly be an initiative with an even greater focus on producers.
Centered around Yoichi Town's wineries, abundant seafood and agricultural products will also be provided, allowing you to enjoy pairings between food and Yoichi wine.
Be sure to take this opportunity to savor the flavors of Yoichi during this period.
