The festival centers on sake while also offering wine, cider, craft beer, plum liqueur and more.
About the 14th Washu Fes at Osaka Bay Tower
The event lets visitors freely taste more than 130 varieties of sake, plum liqueur, and sparkling alcoholic beverages from 26 breweries around Japan.
Highlights include a double set of special gifts, the independently developed “Washu Fes AI Concierge,” trendy SAKE highballs, and craft sake.
What to Expect
This edition’s theme is “Beat the summer heat with crisp, chilled Japanese drinks!”
Alongside classic summer sake and sparkling styles, visitors can try the Washu Fes AI Concierge and experiential booths suggesting different ways to enjoy Japanese alcoholic beverages, including warm sake and SAKE highballs.
Although sake is the main focus, “Craft Sake by MOTTOX,” created through collaboration between a wine trading company and breweries around Japan, will also appear.
Visitors can enjoy a wide-ranging lineup that crosses beverage categories.
