Nature Wonder Resort “Hoshino Resorts TOMAMU” will begin serving TOMAMU-exclusive wines produced by Grande Polaire from September 1, 2025.
Two wines made with grapes from Yoichi, Hokkaido, will be available exclusively at the resort.
Here are the details.
Background to the Collaboration
Grande Polaire is a Japanese wine brand developed by Sapporo Breweries Ltd.
The collaboration came about because Sapporo Breweries’ desire to have more people discover wines made with Hokkaido grapes matched Hoshino Resorts TOMAMU’s wish to let the many guests visiting the resort enjoy Hokkaido wine more casually and up close.
About the Wines
The two wines being offered are made with grapes grown in Yoichi, Hokkaido.
The labels feature the initials of “Bacchus” and “Zweigeltrebe,” respectively, in original designs created exclusively for the TOMAMU wines.
■ “Grande Polaire Yoichi Bacchus White 2024” (Hirotsu Vineyard, Yoichi, Hokkaido)
This wine offers a range of aromas, including green notes reminiscent of a meadow, citrus such as lemon, and floral notes.
It has a refreshing flavor with pleasant sweetness and crisp acidity.
■ “Grande Polaire Yoichi Zweigeltrebe Red 2023” (Hirotsu Vineyard and other vineyards, Yoichi, Hokkaido)
With a vivid ruby-red hue, it offers charming fruit flavors and aromas of pepper, cinnamon, raspberry and cassis.
