About "THE LAKE Kawaguchiko Kurashi"
"THE LAKE Kawaguchiko Kurashi" is a private whole-house rental accommodation facility situated on the shores of Lake Kawaguchi, opened as a new initiative by Wabunka Hasshin Kenkyusha Co., Ltd.
Located in a nature-rich setting overlooking Lake Kawaguchi directly ahead, the facility is a renovation of a charming 60-year-old traditional folk house, infused with modern ambiance and functionality while preserving its Japanese aesthetic.
The spacious 70-tsubo kominka is equipped with features suitable for a wide variety of occasions, from an overnight stay experiencing traditional Japanese culture to wedding venues, workshops and other events, corporate training, and private catering restaurant experiences.
Offering Wines from Local Wineries
For meals during stays at the facility, a visiting chef comes to the on-site kitchen to serve custom-made dishes prepared with fresh local ingredients.
In addition to a diverse lineup of cuisines including Japanese, French, Italian, and vegan dishes, guests can also enjoy wines from local Yamanashi wineries, such as 7c | Seven Cedars Winery in Kawaguchiko.
Following the opening of the facility, it is also scheduled to be utilized as one of the venues for "Kawaguchiko Tsubomi Wedding," a wedding business operated by Wabunka Hasshin Kenkyusha Co., Ltd.
A limited-time restaurant event commemorating this opening will be held in August.
