Here are the details.
About “Tetsufuru”
“Tetsufuru” is the collective name for a project designed to revitalize communities along railway lines by encouraging visits to “towns with railways” across Japan and purchases at local shops and facilities.
When users make a hometown tax donation to a participating municipality through the dedicated site operated by S2 Co., Ltd., a designated business operator under the Commissioner of the National Tax Agency, they immediately receive a digital gift certificate worth 30% of the donation amount.
The digital certificate can be used in one-yen increments at participating shops in the municipality for railway goods, local specialties, special railway experiences and other purchases.
About the First Phase
The first phase begins in two towns: Anamizu in Ishikawa Prefecture, served by the Noto Railway, a symbol of recovery from the Noto Peninsula earthquake; and Wakasa in Tottori Prefecture, home to the terminal station of the Wakasa Railway, whose 23 major facilities along the line are collectively registered as national Tangible Cultural Properties.
Participating shops and services in Anamizu include Noto Wine Yama Sauvignon (¥1,250 / 360 ml).
