On Sunday, December 14, 2025, The Prince Karuizawa will host its “Karuizawa Wine Club” event at Dining Room Beaux Sejours.
This edition is planned as a special evening exploring Shinshu terroir with Takeo Ikeda of Komoro winery Terre de ciel.

About the Karuizawa Wine Club
Karuizawa Wine Club is a recurring wine event at Dining Room Beaux Sejours in The Prince Karuizawa, with a different theme each time.
It is popular as an event for adults where guests can enjoy pairings with cuisine while learning about the stories behind the wines and the thoughts of their makers.
The theme for the 12th edition is “Chikuma River Wine Valley and a French Chef’s Specialties.”
The featured winery is Terre de ciel, which makes wine in the Nukaji district of Komoro, Nagano, at an elevation of around 930 meters.
Program
Winery representative Takeo Ikeda will attend the event.
He will introduce selected wines while speaking about Terre de ciel’s distinctive approach, including making the most of challenging climatic conditions, fermentation with native yeast, and low-intervention winemaking.
The dishes will be specialties created by Keiichi Tokita, Executive Chef of Dining Room Beaux Sejours and an award winner in numerous culinary competitions.
The course is designed to bring out the terroir of the Chikuma River Wine Valley, combining Shinshu ingredients with natural wines for a layered dining experience.
It will be a rare evening to close out the winter season.
