Over two days on Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5, Tokyu Resort Town Tateshina will host a "Grape Harvesting Experience" and a "Tasting Dinner" featuring a sommelier and producer at Chino City's first winery.

This event will be hosted at Tokyu Resort Town Tateshina.
The "Grape Harvesting Experience" will be set at "Oreille de Chat," the very first winery in Chino City, Nagano Prefecture.
Oreille de Chat began transforming abandoned soba buckwheat fields in Chino City into wine grape vineyards in 2018, officially opening as a winery in 2023 with the goal of becoming a "winery that lasts for a thousand years."
The wines crafted here have earned high acclaim as a member winery of the Shinshu Wine Valley Concept's Western Foothills of Yatsugatake, and are also served at hotels within Tokyu Resort Town Tateshina.
Details of the "Grape Harvesting Experience" and "Tasting Dinner"
During the event, guests will enjoy Oreille de Chat wines paired with French cuisine prepared using local Shinshu ingredients on the first day, accompanied by commentary from the producer and a sommelier.
On the second day, participants will join the producer in harvesting wine grapes that have been nurtured with utmost care.
Furthermore, wine made from the grapes harvested during this event is scheduled to be delivered to participants' homes around the summer of 2025.
