Matsuya Ginza will participate in the "Tokyo Creative Salon," an event where local communities and private enterprises collaborate.
For this 3rd edition, under the theme "MY FAVORITE TOKYO," Matsuya will act as a curator to showcase Tokyo-origin items carefully selected through its own unique filter as having "new value."
Among them, items familiar to Japanese wine fans will also make an appearance.
Here, we will share the details.
About Tokyo Creative Salon

Tokyo Creative Salon is a project-based creative event aimed at positioning Tokyo as one of the top five fashion cities alongside Paris, Milan, New York, and London.
Collaborating with local communities and private businesses, it is held across five areas in Tokyo (Ginza, Nihonbashi, Marunouchi, Shibuya, and Harajuku), encompassing fashion, art, music, food, culture, and more.
For this 3rd edition, welcoming creative director Seiichi Saito (Panoramatiks) as general producer, it will transmit fashion and creativity adapted to new lifestyles from Tokyo under the theme "RE:CREATION."
Initiatives to attract visitors across the different areas will also reportedly be implemented.
"MY FAVORITE TOKYO" Carefully Selected for Each Floor

What will be featured on each floor of Matsuya Ginza this time are products and events by artisans engaged in manufacturing in Tokyo and Tokyo-born designers, spanning fashion items, foods, and living goods.
Featuring products from brands and creators active in Tokyo, they are truly items originating "from TOKYO."
Amid a lineup featuring apparel, sake, Japanese sweets, and more, products familiar to Japanese wine fans will also be featured.
〈Tokyo Winery〉 Tokyo Special (720mL / limited to 12 bottles) 3,000 yen
Tokyo's first winery, established in 2014 in Oizumi-gakuen, Nerima Ward. This medium-bodied red wine blended with Tokyo-grown grapes brewed in Nerima Ward is characterized by a gorgeous aroma that passes through the nose and a lingering richness on the palate.

〈Fukagawa Winery Tokyo〉 Yamagata Niagara Orange Bag-in-Box (360ml) 1,650 yen

A crisp, dry orange wine made with aromatic Niagara grapes, brewed in Tokyo's downtown shitamachi. In addition to using wine yeast from grapes grown on the rooftop of a building in Fukagawa, it comes in a box that can be mailed into a post box, making it ideal as a gift.
Among the many Tokyo-origin items, it is delightful that creations from Tokyo's wineries were chosen.
Incidentally, events such as "Ginza Neighborhood Koppepan" are also scheduled to be held, featuring proud koppepan bread from Tokyo shops.
These are certainly pairings you'll want to try alongside wines from Tokyo Winery and Fukagawa Winery Tokyo.
Enjoy Tokyo

When thinking of Tokyo, one might picture a city where fine goods gather from all over Japan and the world, but we must not forget that there are also many specialties originating from Tokyo.
With long-established shops as well as many new venues, Tokyo is transforming itself into a city of craftsmanship and manufacturing.
For those who wish to discover the real Tokyo in terms of craftsmanship, why not enjoy the "Tokyo Creative Salon"?
