Over the two days of March 4 and 5, 2023, a tasting event titled “Traveling Hokkaido Sorachi Wine” was held at the Vinos Yamazaki Ginza store.
Producers from local wineries in the Sorachi area also visited.
Mr. Kubodera of Housui Winery and Mr. Yamazaki of Yamazaki Winery took the stage on their respective days.
Gathered guests thoroughly enjoyed tastings that also included wines from other wineries in the same area.
It was a wonderful time enjoying wine while hearing stories directly from the producers.
In addition, we were able to hear about the charms of their respective regions from people involved in tourism promotion in the Iwamizawa area.
Among these, the “Sorachi Wine Taxi” looks set to become indispensable transport for wine lovers!

Furthermore, Hokkaido cheeses independently sold by Vinos Yamazaki were introduced to pair with these wines.
Guests were also able to savor wine and cheese pairings unique to sharing the same production area.
It is said that the “Sorachi Wine Picnic” is scheduled to be held for the first time in three years on Saturday, September 2, 2023.
