The 9th Chefs Bar in Yatsugatake 2026 is a gastronomy event in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, designed to communicate the appeal of winter in Yatsugatake through food.
The popular event features dishes made with seasonal ingredients by leading restaurant chefs, along with beverages from local wineries and sake breweries.
Over two days, visitors can experience winter in Yatsugatake through five themes: the warmth of bonfires (fire), the blessing of famous spring water (water), clear air (wind), fertile earth (soil), and a sky full of stars (stars).
Attractive Gourmet Offerings
Fourteen accomplished chefs representing the Yatsugatake area will gather for the event.
Another attraction is the extensive selection of beer, wine, sake, and other drinks made with the area's renowned water.
Scheduled offerings include Yatsugatake Beer Touchdown Kiyosato Lager, which won a world-best award at the World Beer Awards 2023, and globally recognized sake such as Shichiken, as well as wine, whisky, shochu, and other beverages born from the region's water.
