About Restaurant O
Restaurant O is the flagship restaurant of Oginoya Co., Ltd. It was created as a place to reconsider what cuisine and restaurants can be while defining and creating a new form of “Terroir Cuisine” rooted in Japan’s natural and cultural environment.
Chef Yasuhiro Sawada, who trained at Michelin-starred restaurants, uses French techniques while engaging deeply with Japanese nature, culture, and ideas, seeking to create dishes in which quietness and strength resonate together.
Four Terroir-Inspired Courses and Japanese Wine
Restaurant O serves only course menus.
Stories of ingredients, memories of place, and the breath of the seasons circulate and evolve through the courses.

O’s signature course, expressing its full philosophy through seasonal ingredients reflecting Japanese nature and culture.
◉ Harmony — 12 dishes — ¥41,800
O’s highest-level course, combining the Terroir concept with ingredients from around the world.
◉ Yin — 8 dishes — ¥19,800
A shorter course concentrating O’s worldview in a quieter format.
◉ Yang — 8 dishes — ¥30,800
A more vivid and dynamic short course adding ingredients such as caviar to Yin.
Pairings are designed by General Manager and Chef Sommelier Yoichi Ooka according to the same philosophy as the cuisine, quietly supporting respect for ingredients and producers.
The beverage selection centers not only on sake nurtured by Japan’s terroir but also includes Japanese wine.
The wine list focuses on domestic bottles while also selecting wines from around the world made by producers and winemakers with connections to Japan.
