Natural-Wine and Music Fans, Take Note: The First Omotesando Wart Fair Is Here

Billed as “three days where music, space, and conversation melt into the world around natural wine,” the first Omotesando Wart Fair will be held in Omotesando for three days beginning August 28.

Art × music × space—and wine. It already sounds stylish.
Let’s take a look at what the event has in store.

A New Wine Event Designed to Cultivate Culture

The organizer is LOGS Inc., a Nihonbashi, Tokyo-based company involved in lifestyle businesses spanning art, education, food and beverage, fashion, and more.
Restaurants with deep knowledge of natural wine and a strong sensitivity to fashion and music culture will gather in Omotesando during the event, each presenting wines and food selected according to its own philosophy.

Core participants include Massif (Ikejiri-Ohashi), AC HOUSE (Nishi-Azabu), and Ukiyo (Yoyogi-Uehara), along with Bar Part Time from San Francisco. On the final day, Saturday, one-day guest wine shops including Human Nature (Nihonbashi Kabutocho), wineshop lulu (Gakugei-daigaku), and KIKI WINE CLUB (Ogawa, Saitama) are also scheduled to join.

A new kind of wine event aimed at cultivating culture is about to begin.

◾️Participants

1. Massif | Ikejiri-Ohashi

Massif in Ikejiri-Ohashi is a restaurant serving natural wine and creative cuisine. With around 200 wines and food unconstrained by genre, it offers a multifaceted space that can also function as a café or bar depending on the time of day, attracting a style-conscious audience.

2. AC HOUSE | Nishi-Azabu

Tucked away on a backstreet in Nishi-Azabu, AC HOUSE is a standalone restaurant created by renovating a traditional Japanese house. In a modern, predominantly white interior, it serves innovative course cuisine that blends Japanese and Western food cultures. Its natural-wine pairings are another highlight, attracting attention from discerning diners.

3. UKIYO | Yoyogi-Uehara

Located inside the CABO complex in Yoyogi-Uehara, Ukiyo is a restaurant offering innovative course cuisine built around charcoal fire and spices. Each dish uses seasonal ingredients from across Japan and is prepared through the restaurant’s distinctive approach.

4. Bar Part Time | San Francisco

Bar Part Time, located in San Francisco’s Mission District, is a meeting point for natural wine and music culture. Centered on additive-free, unfiltered wines, the space comes alive with vinyl DJ sets and the glow of a disco ball, creating a special setting where music and art intersect. Through projects including collaborations with San Francisco’s Museum of Modern Art, it has continued to expand its cultural presence year after year.

※ On Saturday, August 30 only, guest wine shops including wineshop lulu and KIKI WINE CLUB are scheduled to participate as well.

◾️About the Event Space

The venue design is handled by DDAA, led by architect Daisuke Motogi. Treating “table setting” as a form of consideration that creates a good time around the table, the team uses “tablecloths, flowers, and lighting” as its theme. Cloth, flowers, and light will extend beyond tables to sofas, beds, stepladders, refrigerators, and other objects, creating a new kind of wine-drinking environment that moves fluidly between restaurant and casual wine-shop culture.

Rather than manufacture new furniture and fixtures, the team is borrowing and repurposing existing items to avoid generating waste for a short-term event.
