Currently, Japanese wine is produced throughout Japan, from Hokkaido in the north to Okinawa in the south.
Japanese wine, which pairs wonderfully with ingredients and gourmet foods from across Japan, has received high praise for its quality—particularly in recent years with numerous international awards—and is attracting growing attention as a new national beverage representing Japan.
We are seeking "Japanese Wine Ambassadors" to promote the present state of such "Japanese wine" across the country and the world!
The auditions will be held!
In the "Japanese Wine Ambassador 2025" audition, up to six people will be selected based on overall judging results during the audition period, including livestream screening and interview screening.
Winners will receive a variety of attractive perks, including prize money, wine, and appearances on the internet TV show Torigoe Azzurri FM's "HELLO, Japanese Wine".
The Grand Prix winner will receive an amazing 500,000 yen in prize money! Plus a one-year supply of wine!!
Applicants must be men or women aged 20 or older at the time of entry, agree with the details on the "What is a Japanese Wine Ambassador?" page, and be able to engage in activities to actively promote the appeal of Japanese wine. Activities of the Japanese Wine Ambassadors
Now, let's take a look at the main activities after being appointed as a Japanese Wine Ambassador during the one-year term.

1. Visiting and interviewing Japanese wine wineries nationwide, and sharing on social media, etc.
You will visit wineries and share their appeal, ways to enjoy the wine, and what you learned. Photos and interviews conducted at each winery are scheduled to be published on "NIHON WINE.JP", a web media outlet for discovering the "now" of Japanese wine.
2. Guest appearances on internet TV Torigoe Azzurri FM's "HELLO, Japanese Wine"
You will appear as a guest on "HELLO, Japanese Wine", a program that shares the appeal of Japanese wine domestically and internationally, and take part in special content related to Japanese wine.
3. Guest appearances at Japanese wine-related events
You will make guest appearances at events related to Japanese wine or where Japanese wine is exhibited, and share the appeal and insights you gained through the event. These activities may also be featured on the web media "NIHON WINE.JP" and the internet TV program "HELLO, Japanese Wine".
In this way, through your activities as a Japanese Wine Ambassador, you will gain various experiences and promotional opportunities!
