On July 1, NIKI Hills Winery will release “NEIRO 2025,” the latest vintage of its white wine NEIRO.
It is a premium white wine made from 100% grapes grown in Yoichi, Hokkaido.
About NIKI Hills Winery
NIKI Hills Winery is a multifaceted winery operated by the DAC advertising group.
Alongside producing high-quality wines that have won Gold at international competitions, it places strong emphasis on contributing to the region. Through wine tourism that attracts visitors from Japan and overseas, the winery aims to help revitalize Niki Town.
About NEIRO 2025
The newly released NEIRO 2025 is made from Bacchus vines about 40 years old, grown by a contracted farmer in neighboring Yoichi Town.
Sweet-and-tart aromas of pineapple and tropical fruit are layered with bright notes of white rose and mint. On the palate, juicy sweetness reminiscent of ripe banana and white peach spreads out, while pleasant acidity gives the finish a clean shape.
The winery suggests enjoying it casually, almost as if taking a stroll, with roughly broken Parmigiano Reggiano in hand.
