A winery tour and "NAGANO WINE Discovery ~Summer Sparkling Night~" will be held.

Collaboration with Karuizawa Anne Winery
"NAGANO WINE Discovery" is a popular program at Karuizawa Marriott Hotel where guests can enjoy wines expressing the unique character of the land and vintage, along with the passion of the vigneron (winegrower/winemaker).
This summer's event will be held in collaboration with Karuizawa Anne Winery, the first winery in Karuizawa Town, which just opened in autumn 2023 only about 10 minutes from the hotel.
About the Event Details
In this collaboration, the event "NAGANO WINE Discovery ~Summer Sparkling Night~" will be held every Sunday in July 2024, featuring a winery tour, tastings, and a special pairing dinner prepared with the hotel chef's dedicated use of ingredients from Shinshu.
Upon arriving at the hotel, guests will first be shuttled to Karuizawa Anne Winery.
Built by repurposing an old church in a cool climate at an elevation of over 1,000 meters, the winery is currently pursuing the "Karuizawa Wine Project," which aims to brew "Karuizawa-grown wine" made entirely from 100% Karuizawa-grown grapes; a tour and tasting will be conducted while listening to the project's vision.
Upon returning to the hotel, guests can enjoy a special pairing dinner.
At dinner, two types of sparkling wine from Karuizawa Anne Winery will be served, along with three wines from wineries in the Chikuma River Wine Valley, carefully selected by the hotel's J.S.A. Sommelier Excellence, Mr. Matoba.
This is a must-see event for Japanese wine fans.
