MORIUMIUS LEARNING Co., Ltd. has begun recruiting owners for farmland operated by Moriumius Farm.
The crops to be grown on the farmland are wine grapes.

About the Farmland
Moriumius Farm is a general incorporated association that has been working on regional revitalization and sustainable nature restoration since 2023 in Ogatsu Town, which suffered devastating damage from the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Attempting nature restoration by leasing land in the former center of the tsunami-stricken town, the farmland project began with soil preparation and is now set to start planting wine grape saplings in April next year; recruitment of vineyard owners has commenced ahead of the planting.
About the Activities
This time, seven grape varieties will be cultivated in the regenerative soil of Moriumius Farm.
The red grape varieties are Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Zweigelt, while the white grape varieties are Malvasia, Pinot Grigio, Gewürztraminer, and Chardonnay; owners will take part in the farm's initiatives, including planting 1,300 saplings, providing necessary materials for the planting, installing underdrains to improve drainage, and constructing vinyl greenhouses.
As special perks, their names will be posted on the vineyard plots, wine will be sent every year, and participation in on-farm activities is also scheduled.
Specific Participation Activities
・Participating in the memorable planting in April 2023
・Participating in grape harvesting for currently brewed wines at contracted growers' vineyards in southern Yamagata Prefecture
・Participating in the winemaking process, including bottling, labeling, and preparation for shipment
Looking ahead, there are also plans to build a winery themed around "agriculture and food" where both children and adults can enjoy learning, as well as a food processing facility utilizing seafood.
