From around mid-April through mid-July 2025, the “Minamisanriku Salmon Fair” will be held by the Food Appeal Promotion Committee of the Minamisanriku Town Tourism Association.
Nineteen businesses are expected to participate, including Minamisanriku Winery.

About the “Minamisanriku Salmon Fair”
The “Minamisanriku Salmon Fair” is organized by the Food Appeal Promotion Committee of the Minamisanriku Town Tourism Association.
Held during the landing season for Minamisanriku Salmon, the fair is now in its third year.
“Minamisanriku Salmon” is the collective name used since 2023 for coho salmon raised and landed in Shizugawa Bay, Minamisanriku Town.
This year, menus and brochures have been renewed, with a wide range of dining options and special accommodation plans that let visitors fully enjoy fresh Minamisanriku Salmon farmed in the town.
