"Lumiere" is a popular winery in Yamanashi Prefecture.
The greatest sparkling wine in the winery's history is "Blanc de Noirs."
Ahead of its general release, it is currently available on exclusive pre-sale on the crowdfunding service "Makuake."
The sales period runs until Monday, November 29.

Lumiere's Challenge in Sparkling Winemaking
Lumiere began producing sparkling wine in 2007, pioneering the effort within Yamanashi Prefecture.
Through extensive trials aimed at producing authentic sparkling wine using traditional in-bottle secondary fermentation—the same method as Champagne in France—they now offer a lineup of six different sparkling wines (white, rosé, and orange) varying by grape variety and winemaking method.
While many are already big fans of Lumiere's sparkling wine, the winery continued to explore ways to craft an even newer style of sparkling wine.
Driven by that ambition, they reportedly decided to take on the challenge of "Blanc de Noirs," which is still rare in Japan.
About Lumiere Sparkling Blanc de Noirs
"Blanc de Noirs" is a rare sparkling wine combining European red wine grape varieties cultivated in Lumiere's own estate vineyards.
In 2017, Lumiere's sparkling wine "Blanc de Noirs" was offered exclusively on Makuake and reportedly reached its goal in no time.
Building on previous experience and techniques, this new release of "Blanc de Noirs" incorporated a wider range of grape varieties, successfully resulting in an even richer and more delicious profile.
The vintage of "Blanc de Noirs" is 2017.
This sparkling wine was aged for about 36 months after in-bottle secondary fermentation, following a blend of European varieties from their estate vineyards: 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc, and 9% other varieties.
A gentle aroma reminiscent of ripe apples, creamy bubbles, and mellow fruit flavors are exquisitely harmonized through extended aging, making this a truly luxurious bottle.
