St. Cousair Winery continues to produce high-quality wines that fit seamlessly into everyday life.
Sales of "Nagano Ryugan 2021" have commenced on the official St. Cousair online shop.
In addition, sales will begin sequentially at St. Cousair and Kuze Fuku & Co. stores nationwide (excluding some locations).
Here, we introduce what kind of wine it is.
A Highly Popular Bottle from St. Cousair

St. Cousair Winery is located in Iizuna Town, Nagano Prefecture.
"Nagano Ryugan" is a slightly sweet white wine made from "Ryugan," a grape variety native to Nagano Prefecture, and is known as a hugely popular product whose vintage sells out every year before summer arrives.
Additionally, its label featuring a gallant dragon inspired by the name "Ryugan" (dragon's eye) is also familiar to fans.
What kind of flavor has the eagerly anticipated 2021 vintage achieved?
The 2021 Vintage Has a Rich Finish!

Thanks to little rain and continuous fine weather for the 2021 crop of "Ryugan," they were reportedly able to harvest aromatic, fully ripe grapes.
"Nagano Ryugan 2021," crafted from these Ryugan grapes, features sweet and gentle aromas reminiscent of western pears and white flowers.
On the palate, a delicate and light sweetness is followed by a well-balanced, refreshing acidity that leaves a pleasant lingering finish.
Another characteristic is that it possesses nuances similar to Japanese sake.
Because the grapes for the 2021 vintage were allowed to ripen fully before vinification, it has reportedly resulted in a rich wine that is more aromatic and fruit-forward than the previous year.
A High-Scarcity Wine Limited to 6,644 Bottles!

The production volume for "Nagano Ryugan 2021" is limited to 6,644 bottles.
According to the winery's head winemaker, "St. Cousair began vinifying Nagano Ryugan in 2003. It is a very delicate grape, making this a precious wine whose aromas we succeeded in bringing out after much trial and error. Even now, during fermentation and aging, I worry endlessly, caring for and managing it attentively every day as if raising a baby."
This is a recommended bottle that should capture the attention of not only St. Cousair fans, but Japanese wine fans as well.
