A local winery is also expected to take part.
Here are the details.
About the cellar-opening event
Hagiwara Shuzo, which will host the event, is a long-established sake brewery with a 170-year history in Sakai Town, Ibaraki Prefecture.
The brewery will hold its community-themed cellar opening on Saturday, May 24 and unveil its new corporate philosophy, mission, vision and values for the first time.
The event commemorates the brewery’s 170th anniversary and is intended to communicate the newly established philosophy not only through words but as a shared place and experience.
The theme is “Kakuuchi Brewery Festival, Connecting Marche.”
With gratitude to the local community, the event will offer a chance to enjoy Hagiwara Shuzo’s new sake together with delicious foods from Sakai Town.
A winery will participate too!
The day is scheduled to feature the announcement of Hagiwara Shuzo’s rebranding and new MVV, a sake-tasting area, and food sales from five food trucks offering snacks, sweets and light meals.
Sakai Winery is also expected to have a booth.
