Vivid Garden Inc., operator of Tabechoku, worked with SBI FXTRADE Co., Ltd. to develop and sell a limited label for an old-vine wine through the Tabechoku Primary Industry SDGs Project.
The wine was created with Maeda Ryushuen in Yamanashi, which practices environmentally conscious cultivation.
About the project
The project aims to support sustainable primary industry and help stabilize producer operations through advance barrel purchases from grape and wine producers.
This release uses wine from Maeda Ryushuen, and SBI FXTRADE plans to use it as gifts for members and business partners.
Wine characteristics
・100% estate-grown grapes (monopole wine)
・White wine from 60-year-old Koshu vines
・Aya Maceration Pelliculaire 2023 limited label
The wine is made only from carefully selected grapes from a single estate, with attention to soil preparation and grape selection, and is described as having notable depth and richness.
The label uses grape imagery in the colors of the 17 SDGs goals and includes a character drawn by the producer’s son.
