This red wine is produced at Ise Utsukushikuni Winery, operated by Bliss Dining Co., Ltd.
It uses 100% Muscat Bailey A grapes from Nabari, Mie, making it a rare wine made entirely from Mie-grown grapes.
A First for Mie
The wine won a silver medal at the Japan Wine Competition, the first for a wine from Mie Prefecture.
It was also the first award of its kind for a wine made from 100% Mie-grown grapes.
