Manns Wine Co., Ltd. will release a limited quantity of "GI Yamanashi Rosé 2025."
Sales are scheduled to begin in late January.
Here are the details.
About "GI Yamanashi"
GI (Geographical Indication) is a system that promotes the proper use of place names, which are shared regional assets, and indicates that a product comes from the designated area and meets defined quality standards.
"GI Yamanashi," designated by the Commissioner of the National Tax Agency in July 2013, was Japan's first GI for a wine-producing region. Only wines that comply with all stipulated standards for raw materials, production methods and quality may display the "GI Yamanashi" designation.
The wine being released this time is GI Yamanashi certified.
It is described as an alluring rosé born in Yamanashi.
About "GI Yamanashi Rosé 2025"
"GI Yamanashi Rosé 2025" is a beautiful rosé made from particularly high-quality Muscat Bailey A grapes harvested in Yamanashi Prefecture.
To bring out the character of each site and vineyard, base wines are produced using vinification methods suited to each parcel and vineyard, then assembled in the optimal combination.
Certified under the stringent GI Yamanashi standards covering raw materials, production methods and quality, it is truly a wine officially recognized as expressing "the taste of Yamanashi."
It is said to offer refreshing acidity and gentle fruit flavors that spread pleasantly across the palate.
Be sure to check it out.
