A progress-report event for “Gunma Yamiku DAO,” a project that lets participants become owners of a local wine initiative, will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at NETSUGEN, the public-private co-creation space on the 32nd floor of the Gunma Prefectural Government building, and online via Zoom webinar.

About “Gunma Yamiku DAO”
“Gunma Yamiku DAO” is described as Japan's first local wine-production project using a corporate-style DAO structure. It is being developed by Gaiax Co., Ltd. together with the NETSUGEN Office of the Digital Transformation Division in the Governor's Strategy Department of Gunma Prefecture.
One month after launch, the project will hold a report session and talk sessions with stakeholders covering progress to date and future plans.
Program
The day's program is as follows.
・14:30–15:20 Talk Session 1: “Agriculture Session”
・15:30–15:50 Talk Session 2: “Food Session”
Breeders, winemakers, wine-study members, and others will discuss practical experiences in winemaking and regional revitalization.
・16:00–16:45 Project Report
Gunma Prefecture × Gaiax × Chimori will discuss the future envisioned by “Gunma Yamiku DAO” and the realities of implementing it.
・16:45–17:00 Q&A and Comment Session
・17:00–18:00 Networking & Tasting, with food that pairs with wine
Participants can enjoy natural wine while casually exchanging information with speakers and fellow attendees.
Participation is free. On-site attendance is limited to the first 60 people, and online participation is also available via Zoom webinar.
