Timee, Inc., provider of the spare-time job service "Timee," has concluded an outsourcing agreement with Yamagata Prefecture.
That winery was also listed among the participating host businesses.
Here are the details.
"Timee Travel," a Service to Find Your Second Hometown
The outsourcing agreement between Timee, Inc. and Yamagata Prefecture aims to leverage "Timee Travel"—a service that helps people discover a second hometown through the experience of "working" in regional areas—to provide employment opportunities in local industries unique to Yamagata Prefecture and opportunities to interact with local residents.
Led by Yamagata Prefecture, the initiative collaborates with five cities and towns.
To address the major challenge of "employment" when considering relocation, providing work opportunities across various regions in the prefecture through "Timee Travel" aims to allow participants to experience the charms of Yamagata Prefecture firsthand, build relational populations, and promote future immigration.
Work at Gassan Toraya Winery!
Among the businesses scheduled to host participants this time are "Higashiyaka, Olada Cacao & Choux" in Kaminoyama City, "Genki International General Incorporated Association" in Sakata City, and "Warabeuta no Yado Yunohara" in Mogami Town.
Among them, a work placement drawing the attention of Japanese wine fans is "Gassan Toraya Winery" in Nishikawa Town.
At this winery, which offers wines with distinctive Yamagata character crafted carefully using high-quality grapes grown in Yamagata Prefecture, participants will be able to engage in tasks such as grape harvesting, winemaking preparations, and wine bottling.
If you are a wine lover looking to find a second hometown in Yamagata Prefecture, why not check it out?
